On 2nd May 2025, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Department of Software Engineering at NICHE jointly organized the International Conference on the Future of Connected Systems – IoT, AI & 5G (FoCS 2025). The event commenced at 10:00 AM and was held at the Prof. L. Srinivasan Memorial Block, AC Auditorium. The conference was graced by the presence of Prof. S. Margaret Vijay, Director of Global Ranking & Data Analytics at Villa College, Maldives, as the Chief Guest. Dr. Lyernisha S. R., Lecturer in Software Engineering at the University of the West of England, UK, delivered the keynote address. Both dignitaries shed light on various advancements and emerging trends in the fields of IoT, Artificial Intelligence, and 5G, particularly emphasizing their impact on modern software engineering practices.
